About This Project
The clients at this beautiful listed property approached Tristen Knight Garden Design in Winter 2017 to assess and redesign the whole site, to develop the garden to be more suitable for a busy young family. The brief was to develop a country garden with more interest, structure and colour as well as giving some added privacy to the formal lawn at the rear of the house. The new design includes some stunning features, such as the 17 metre long oak walkway, formal reflection pool, fire pit area with curved seating and of course, a new play area!
The design was developed during Winter and Spring 2018 and Phase 1 of the project began in late Spring 2018. The construction of the garden has been built over three key phases, with the final phase being completed in Autumn 2019. As with all large gardens, it’s been a pleasure to watch it develop over time and how the clients now interact with this beautiful space.
