Tristen has an amazing eye for detail. He designed the new beds to reflect the shape and design of our house. He also noticed that we could see an ugly telegraph pole when looking at the garden from our kitchen window and planted a tree to hide it from our view. Having pondered and tried to make something of an odd shaped area of our garden with poor soil and poor drainage we finally called in a professional garden designer. Tristen Knight listened carefully to our wishes and discussed the planting and shaping of the area to fully understand how we wished to see and use it. He took detailed measurements and levels and two weeks later presented us with a professionally produced plan with which we were delighted. He had turned our random ideas into a flowing layout with all the functionality and planting we required in a geometric form that would never have occurred to us. We can't wait for the autumn and the start of the works and to see it flourish next spring!

Tristen designed and installed a planting scheme for both our front and back gardens. He took the few ideas we had and expanded them into something that we could never have achieved on our own - a garden that has plants which are not only thriving in the awkward shape and position of some of our beds but are also a pleasure to look at.
